This is a plains route, so it runs more predictably than our Black Hills deliveries, but worth double-checking). It’s one of our farther towns, but also one of our steadiest; Box Elder’s been growing fast for years, and new lawns are a constant here in a way they aren’t in some of the older, more built-out towns we serve.
A lot of that growth traces back to Ellsworth Air Force Base, which sits right on the edge of town. Between base personnel and the general spillover of Rapid City’s growth pushing east, Box Elder has more new construction, new subdivisions, and first-time lawns going in than almost anywhere else on our delivery list. That changes what people need from us: speed matters more here. The ground out here is different from the Black Hills towns we serve too.
